Sarna Plastec develops, produces and distributes tailor-made solutions from a wide range of different films. Our products are precisely tailored to the customer’s needs, so we can find the right solution for every application.

There are many product opportunities in the sports & events sector. We would like to highlight our two own products. Firstly, the S-Bag, a bag that can be filled with water for brake tests on cable cars; secondly, our Igluformer© to efficiently construct igloos. For customers, we produce, among other things, ball bladders for footballs or volleyballs or the Air-Body, a training device for use in ball sports. In addition, there are countless custom-made products such as large screens for open-air cinemas, linings for swimming pools or swimming aids for water lovers.

As your partner, we are ready to design and develop your individual sports or event product – that of course adheres to strict quality criteria. What can you expect from us? What could be more beautiful in our lives than adventures in the great outdoors? Have you ever stayed in an igloo village, for example in Davos Klosters, Engstligenalp or Zermatt? Perhaps your ski resort is lacking just such an igloo – our Igluformer© would certainly help to attract a new customer demographic.

Igloos are very trendy, from an après-ski bar to a cosy sleeping igloo to a Jacuzzi experience, everything is possible. Our Igluformer© with its outstanding functional design will inspire you. The Igluformer© is designed in such a way that the effort required to build an igloo is kept within limits. You can choose between five different sizes or we can make your individual Igluformer© on request.

S-Bags for brake tests on cable cars

Have you ever wondered why cable cars are considered the safest means of transport in the world? The high standards and regular checks by means of brake testing, including our S-Bags, ensure that this remains the case in the future and enables passengers to travel safely.


Our S-Bags are suitable for different types of cable car – be it the chairlift, the gondola or a funicular railway. Their easy handling gives them a clear advantage over conventional weight loading for brake tests: The gentle support of the S-Bags protects the seat cushions from damage. In addition, the water control system (water filling and emptying) enables the S-Bag to be filled with pinpoint accuracy. Our standard range includes two sizes (2s/4s), but of course we also make S-Bags for you in any size.
